Founder and Chief Analyst

Francesco is an experienced green hydrogen analyst and consultant. He was trained at OMV and Hydrogen Europe on green hydrogen projects and technologies monitoring.This consolidated his expertise in the field, building on the conviction that there is a need for a centralised depository of green hydrogen projects and technologies. Determined to assist the development of the field, he foundedIndHex, the green hydrogen network.

Alessandro Porrino

Lead Programmer and Data Analyst

Currently working as an independent consultant and data scientist, Alessandro brings over 20 years of experience and expertise. With a background rooted in top-tier investment banks in London, where he excelled as an analyst and developer for over a decade, Alessandro then pursued his entrepreneurial spirit by founding his own company. Armed with a PhD in Industrial Quality Control from Brunel University, he has seamlessly blended his academic prowess with real-world insights, collaborating with a diverse range of private and public institutions across various industries.

Ioana Iliescu

Public Affairs

Ioana is a Public Affairs Specialist in the energy sector working in Brussels where she advocates for a clean transition and climate change mitigation. She is particularly driven by a passion for hydrogen and is a supporter of scaling up this technology to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. A proud alumna of King's College London and the University of Amsterdam, she is dedicated to unraveling the complexities of energy geopolitics.

Mark Babotan

AI Specialist

Mark holds a Master's degree in Economical and Financial Mathematical Analysis from Corvinus University, Budapest. He started working as a finance manager, shifting towards risk management. He always sought tasks related to data management, visualization or automation, and finally in March 2023 he started working as a full-time data scientist. He has expertise both in traditional machine learning techniques (Tensorflow, PyTorch) and in more advanced AI solutions (MS Azure).
